Proudly Australian owned and made, all OEX cable contains 99.99% Oxygen-Free high conductivity copper, completely sourced from Australian mines. Containing less impurities, it provides less resistance and higher performance under load. OEX Cable delivers thermally superior performance in Hot Engine Bays, with a higher operating temperature rating of 90°C. The cable is manufactured to true Automotive mm² ratings, ensuring superior crimping and termination capabilities, due to an exact mm² match with like-size cable lugs and terminals, meaning no loose connections. OEX cable uses smaller strands in greater numbers, maximising the internal strand count per square millimetre, to deliver superior flexibility whilst carrying maximum load. The increased flexibility of our cable makes for easier installation in tight engine bays. All OEX cable, across the full range of size and colours, is UV stabilised, providing a prolonged life when exposed to the harsh Australian climate, and is also perfect for applications in vehicles such as Caravans and Trailers. All OEX cable is RoHS compliant, with a Temperature Rating of V90 (90°C) to AS/NZS 3808 standard. Production of OEX cable has also earnt a Green Star rating.
